Un-Stench
Un-Stench directions
  • Shake well before every use.  We don't use chemical emulsifiers, so our oils can separate over time.

  • For clothes, spray the parts that smell until they are damp.  Underarms, collar, whatever.  No need to saturate things, but a light misting might not be enough.

  • For shoes, spray a few times before putting them on, and again when taking them off for the night.  Be sure to get the pump inside the shoe so the spray can hit the insole and toe areas.  This works best if you turn the shoe upside down, keep the spray bottle right side up, and spray into the toe area.

  • For outdoor sandals, give topsoles a good misting.

  • For shoes or sandals that have become rancid, saturate the smelly areas.  If this doesn't work, soak the footwear in a water/acohol solution, or use a powerful enzymatic deodorant like mirazyme.

  • For feet, spray soles, heels, and underside of toe area before putting socks or shoes on.  If your feet smell at the end of the day, spray again.

  • For underarms or other areas, use enough spray to wet the appropriate area.  10 to 20 pumps should suffice.  Spray in the morning or after washing.  If you smell at the end of the day, spray again.

  • For the Un-Stench challenge, or any period where you'll need to go without bathing, treat feet, shoes, underarms, and other optional body parts twice a day, once in the morning, once in the evening.

  • Note: due to the alcohol and some oils, Un-Stench may cause a stinging sensation in  sensitive areas of the body for a minute or two after application.  This is normal.  If you don't like it, don't use it in places where it stings.  If you'd rather sting than smell, go for it.

  • May cause general skin irritation in rare cases.  If skin becomes irritated, wash with water and reduce or discontinue use.  If product gets in the eyes, flush with water for several minutes.  See your doctor if irritation persists.

  • Contains alcohol which may dry the skin.  The essential oils and aloe in Mad Mike's Un-Stench tend to moisturize the skin and offset the drying effect of alcohol, but some people may still be sensitive.  If this happens, either use a skin moisturizer or discontinue use of the Un-Stench.

  • Do not inhale.  Even healthy stuff like lettuce and orange juice are not meant to be inhaled into the lungs.  Essential oils are no different.  Do not use as an eyewash, nasal spray, or suppository.

  • Contains ingredients which can harm some synthetic fabrics.  We actually haven't seen any cases of fabric being damaged by the Un-Stench, but we know it can happen in theory.  If you have any doubts about a piece of clothing, either don't use the Un-Stench on it, or test the spray on a small unobtrusive area (like the inside of a shirt tail) first.
